Chris Moyer Murderer
The family murder of Chris Moyer was a horrible incident that happened in 2011. Christopher Moyer of Warrington, Pennsylvania, murdered his family before turning the train on himself to commit suicide.
He confessed to killing his family to the police and then fled the house to end his life.
Christopher Moyer had already left the house when the police arrived.
About three hours later, his body was found in Hatboro next to the SEPTA rails. He had been leaning his head on a rail, waiting for the train that would kill him.
The unsolved question of why the perpetrator committed these crimes continues to bother the family and friends to this day.
He murdered his family, but how?
Christopher Moyer murdered his wife Irina Geller Moyer and their son Dillon before taking his own life.
He whacked them both with a baseball bat as they were dozing off, killing them both.
During the investigation, the 39-year-old wife’s body was discovered in the bathroom next to the main bedroom and the 7-year-old child’s body was discovered in another bedroom.
The investigation by the police
As soon as Chris Moyer told the authorities about the deaths of his wife and children, the inquiry got underway.
The man’s home in the 100 block of Redstone Drive was surrounded by police from Warrick, Warminster, and Warrington.
Police waited to enter the house because they weren’t sure the caller was still inside. When they arrived, they discovered the two deceased victims inside, along with the suspected killer.
The officers came to the conclusion that they were both asleep when Christopher killed them since the blooded bat was close to the kid and there was no sign of resistance.
Shortly later, Moyer’s body, along with other items including around $1300 in his pocket, was discovered on the railroad track.
Before handing himself in on Friday night, a 44-year-old Warrington man allegedly murdered his wife and kid with a baseball bat.
The officials claim that he lied down in front of a train to kill himself. Around 9:40 p.m., the guy dialed 911 to report the incident, according to the police.
When the 911 operator asked whether he had done it, Chris said in the affirmative. He told the operator that he learned his wife and son had died from blunt trauma.
The caller’s kind demeanor and the fact that he expressed gratitude throughout the chat were noticed by the operator.
Montgomery County police were summoned to a report of a deceased person on railroad tracks near Hatboro at about 1:00 in the morning. The 911 caller’s car was discovered nearby.
Police said the man seemed to have put his head on the railway track while waiting for it to come.
The family house had a typed memo with the names and contact details of relatives.
Investigators discovered clues that the family was suffering financial issues.
The only factor that detectives have been able to identify is the Moyers’ financial problems.
The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office said that there will be no further inquiry into the double murder-suicide that took place on Redstone Drive in Warrington on Friday night since there is no one to charge.
